Millville, New Jersey--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The use of aluminum foil or plastic wrap to cover beakers and flasks has always been a quick solution, but the effect is questionable. The new KIMBLE® silicone cover stretches and fits to the top of the beaker to achieve a tight and safe seal. A new product from DWK Life Sciences, the world's largest manufacturer of precision laboratory equipment, the lid provides a safer closure and is easier to use. KIMBLE® silicone caps are available in three sizes and three bright colors (see video), and can be easily installed on beakers, flasks, bottles and cylinders. The elastic silicone material forms a seal on the nozzle, bead top or threaded neck on the glass or plastic container. The lid is heat-resistant and chemical-resistant, and is designed with a pull tab, so it is easy to put on or take off even with gloves.
